Tyler Cameron stripped off his shirt for his Dancing with the Stars performance with pro partner Sharna Burgess, and while the judges did think he had an “impressive” show of strength and movement, they did get some criticism for shying away from the dance style.
During the dance, the former Bachelorette star lifted Sharna in the air, and performed some really muscular moves.
Judge Derek Hough said the performance “felt a little more like cabaret than a salsa.” Derek was then booed, so he clarified that he thought the dance was “so impressive” but “it was hard to judge cause there wasn’t a lot of salsa in there.”
Bruno Tonioli said it felt a little bit like “Terminator tonight.”
Carrie Ann Inaba then got to say only one word, but ended up saying, “agree but impressive.”
