The cast of Mortal Kombat II hit the red carpet for an L.A. fan event this week!
Karl Urban, Mehcad Brooks, Adeline Rudolph, and Jessica McNamee were among the stars who stepped out for the event on Monday night (April 27) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Also in attendance were Josh Lawson, Ludi Lin, Tati Gabrielle, Chin Han, Desmond Chiam, Ana Thu Nguyen, Max Huang, and Joe Taslim, as well as director Simon McQuoid and producer James Wan.
In the sequel, the fan favorite champions are now joined by Johnny Cage (Urban), and “are pitted against one another in the ultimate, no-holds barred, gory battle to defeat the dark rule of Shao Kahn that threatens the very existence of the Earthrealm and its defenders.”
The movie hits theaters on May 8. Watch the trailer!

Critics seem to be mostly positive about the movie, with most saying that it’s an improvement on the first movie. The previous film, released in 2021, had a 55% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
