The Jonas Brothers are to heading to Australia!
On Wednesday (August 12), the NFL announced that they have listed to the boy band to headline the Halftime Show during the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams’ historic game in Melbourne, Australia.
We couldn’t be more excited to perform at halftime during the NFL’s first-ever regular season game in Australia,” Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas said in a joint statement. “Playing at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in front of such passionate Australian fans is an incredible honor.”
They added, “We can’t wait to be part of this historic moment and celebrate with everyone in the stadium and watching around the world.”
The 2026 NFL Melbourne Game is set to air live on Netflix on Thursday, September 10. The Jonas Brothers will take the stage at the Melbourne Cricket Ground as part of a collaboration between the NFL, the Victorian State Government, and Visit Victoria.
“Bringing the first-ever NFL regular season game to Australia is a landmark moment for the league, and we are committed to creating an entertainment experience that reflects the scale and significance of the occasion,” Tim Tubito, senior director of global game presentation and entertainment at the NFL, said in the statement. “The Jonas Brothers are global entertainers whose music connects across generations, making them the ideal artists to help us celebrate this historic game in Melbourne. We look forward to delivering a memorable halftime performance for our fans in Australia and those watching around the world.”
The NFL will hold a record-breaking nine international games this season, including in London and Paris. Each international game will feature its own unique Halftime Show with performers to be announced at a later date.
