Jessica Biel has found her next movie role.
The 44-year-old actress was just announced to be joining the cast of the upcoming movie Playmates, according to Deadline, which is inspired by writer/director Lorraine Nicholson‘s own experiences at the Playboy mansion during her childhood.
Jessica will be playing a wife of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, though her character is reportedly not modeled after any of Hugh‘s real-life wives.
“Absolutely thrilled to join this project with this amazing cast!” Jessica shared with the news on her Instagram story.

As previously announced, Bill Pullman is set to play Hugh Hefner in the upcoming movie. Also in the cast are Lily-Rose Depp and Indiana Elle.
If you didn’t know, Hugh was married three times throughout his life. He was married to Millie Williams from 1949 to 1959, to Kimberley Conrad from 1989 to 2010, and Crystal Harris from 2012 until his passing in 2017.
What is Playmates about?
According to Deadline, the upcoming movie is an “L.A.-set coming-of-age story following 13-year-old know-it-all Elle (Indiana Elle), who considers the Playboy Mansion her second home. During her time at the Mansion, Elle meets Anna (Depp), one of seven hopefuls vying to be Playmate of the Month. The two form an unlikely friendship and try to help each other get what the other wants most, a magazine cover and a boy.”
Jessica‘s casting in Playmates comes just one day after she hit the red carpet at the New York City premiere of her new movie Matchbox: The Movie, which debuts on Apple TV this Friday (October 9).
