It looks like David Corenswet‘s Superman and Nicholas Hoult‘s Lex Luthor are battling it out in the new Superman film, Man of Tomorrow.
The photos are from Tuesday night (June 2) on location in Atlanta, Ga.
It appears as if Nicholas is wearing the warsuit. If you didn’t know, Lex Luthor first obtained the alien battle suit on his home planet, Lexor, while he was living there briefly before it’s destruction. The suit gives him superhuman strength and durability, and it allows him to fly, have a force field and energy projection.
It does look like Nicholas was on hand for some of the filming, and then a stunt double put on the suit as well.
In Man of Tomorrow, Superman and Lex Luthor are set to team up as they against a new villain – Brainiac, played by Lars Eidinger. Filming is currently underway in Atlanta. The film will hit theaters in July 2027.
