It was a big night for BTS at the AMAs!
The K-Pop group won Artist of the Year at the 2026 American Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Monday (May 25) in Las Vegas.
The show basically began and ended with the group as they provided the opening performance, which was pre-taped at one of their Allegiant Stadium shows this past week.
BTS wins big at American Music Awards
The group not only won Artist of the Year, they won in all categories they were nominated in this year.
BTS also won Song of the Summer for their single “Swim” and Best Male K-Pop Artist. In addition to accepting two awards on the live telecast, the group also presented an award to another artist.
The AMAs are airing live on CBS. The show is hosted by Queen Latifah, who is returning as a host after more than 30 years after she previously hosted. We have the full list of performers and celeb presenters who will appear throughout the night, along with the nominations list led by Taylor Swift with 8 nods.
