Dylan Dreyer‘s meal became part of the morning’s entertainment on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle!
Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones spotted their colleague eating behind a camera during Tuesday’s (October 6) broadcast, then turned the unexpected distraction into some on-air teasing, according to People‘s recap.
The meteorologist had a grilled chicken Caesar salad while “hiding behind a camera.”
At the beginning of the show, Jenna admitted she was “kind of distracted” by Dylan.
“I know, I was trying to debate if I was going to say anything. I was trying to be nice,” Sheinelle said with a laugh.
“She’s eating a grilled chicken Caesar,” Jenna added. “We also said that the kitchen is not normally available to do cooking segments on Tuesday and she says, ‘It is for us.’ ”
Dylan is part of the first two hours of the NBC show and co-hosts the 3rd Hour of Today with Al Roker and Craig Melvin.
Al actually had to abruptly exit the Today show recently and Dylan stepped in to help out.
“I remember when you were on the nine o’clock, I would come out, I’d walk out and you all would have two cocktails each,” Jenna said to Sheinelle before telling Dylan, “Settle in! This is the 10 o’clock. If you’d like to sit, there’s a seat next to Sean.”
Dylan fired back, “I’m almost done,” and Jenna joked that they’d “hate to distact” her.
