Disney has shared a couple announcements, giving fans something to look forward to!
The entertainment company just revealed two theatrical release dates for upcoming sequels – Lilo & Stitch 2 and The Incredibles 3.

“Our ‘ohana is back 💙 #LiloandStitch2 is coming to theaters May 26, 2028!” they shared on Instagram.
“Showtime❗️#Incredibles3 is coming to theaters June 16, 2028,” Pixar then announced shortly after.
Lilo & Stitch 2 was announced on 626 Day last summer, following the success of the first live-action adaptation, starring newcomer Maia Kealoha as Lilo.
The Incredibles 3 was first teased in summer 2024, along with a sequel for Finding Nemo.
Disney and Pixar’s latest movie Hoppers just recently hit theaters and the upcoming Toy Story 5 is being released in June.
Also recently announced to be in the works at Pixar are a third Monsters Inc movie, as well as a Coco sequel, a musical about a cat thief called Gatto, and One Ghost Market, inspired by Asian myths, from Turning Red director Domee Shi.
Speaking of live-action adaptations, a live-action Tangled is currently in the works and will be filming soon. The movie will star Teagan Croft as Rapunzel, Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider and Kathryn Hahn as Mother Gothel!
