Matthew Lillard is addressing a diss from Quentin Tarantino.
If you’ll recall, the Kill Bill director went viral after appearing on The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast last year and said he didn’t “care for” Matthew, as well as fellow actors Paul Dano and Owen Wilson.
In a new interview, Matthew admits that the moment “sucked,” as he would “love” to be in one of his movies.

“I think he’s a lovely filmmaker, and to just sort of get punched in the mouth just was kind of a bummer,” he told People.
That said, he said he’s gotten a ton of love and support from that viral moment.
“At the end of the day, it was kind of lovely,” he noted.
