South Carolina Republican congresswoman Nancy Mace is debuting her brand new tattoos on her arms.
The 48-year-old politician wore a sleeveless shirt on her YouTube and Instagram page and showed off all her new ink.
What tattoos does Nancy Mace have?
It appears as if she has the word “Justice” on one arm. It also appears she got a bird and a flower tattooed on her skin.
She also has the quote, “Mrs. Dalloway said she would buy the flowers herself,” written, which is a line from the novel “Mrs. Dalloway.”
She explained why she has gotten so many tattoos
She once told Politico she got the tattoos not only to feel “the pain that I need to feel” but also as a way to “reclaim” her own body.
She apparently got 9 tattoos total, but had not shown them off until now.
Earlier this year, she got attention for losing the South Carolina primary for the Governors seat, and she shared her thoughts on why she thinks that happened.
