The new trailer for Primetime has debuted online.
The A24 movie, directed by Lance Oppenheim, arrives in theaters this fall on September 25. Robert Pattinson stars as To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen.
The logline for the film is as follows: “In 2006, To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen sets out to make television history.” It is inspired by true events.
What is To Catch a Predator?
The Dateline NBC reality TV show featured the host confronting adult men arriving at a sting house expecting to have sex with a minor, with adults impersonating the minors in online chats. The subjects were usually arrested afterward.
