Kristen Stewart and Alia Shawkat are enjoying a girls’ night out!
The two actress met up with some friends for dinner at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi on Wednesday evening (July 22) in Santa Monica, Calif.
For their outing, Kristen, 36, sported a navy bomber jacket over a black T-shirt and black jeans while Alia, 37, wore a white cardigan over a green blouse and matching shorts.
Kristen and Alia will be starring in upcoming stoner girl comedy movie The Wrong Girls, which is the feature directorial debut of writer-director Dylan Meyer, who is Kristen‘s wife.
“Frankie and Molly are codependent boneheads who have spent the last 10 years blissfully in a fog of weed smoke, co-signing each others’ bad choices and screening adulthood’s increasingly insistent calls. Just as Molly’s boyfriend asks her to move in with him, Frankie is mistakenly given a briefcase full of glowing vials of an experimental psychedelic,” Dylan told EW.
The cast also includes “LaKeith Stanfield as NotMetalHeadDave, the for-hire action man who gives the girls the briefcase; Zack Fox as Molly’s ‘wonderful,’ as Meyer describes him, boyfriend Josh; Tony Hale as a ‘douchey real estate developer’; Kate McKinnon as Dr. Olsen, the Danish scientist who created the drugs; Geena Davis as Dr. Olsen’s partner in life and science, and Seth Rogen and Kumail Nanjiani as Frankie and Molly’s judgmental talking cats.”
