Nicholas Galitzine has booked his next movie role!
Days after the release of his new movie Masters of the Universe, in which he plays comic book superhero He-Man, Variety announced on Tuesday (June 9) that the 31-year-old English actor will be playing male supermodel Hoyt Richards in a new movie from director Gus Van Sant.
As of right now, plot details for the currently untitled movie are being kept under wraps.
Hoyt, now 64, is widely considered the first male supermodel, attaining international fame in the late 1980s as he jet-setted across the globe to pose for fashion houses including Versace, Ralph Lauren, and Burberry.
Hoyt is the subject of the new HBO docu-series Bring Me the Beauties, which chronicles how he became ensnared in – and gave millions of dollars to – a doomsday cult called Eternal Values, which was led by Friedrich von Mierers and preyed on young male models. The three-part series is available for streaming on HBO Max now.
In a new interview, Nicholas shared his intense workout routine and detailed the challenges of his diet as he got in shape to play He-Man.
