Rihanna is back in the Big Apple, just in time for the 2026 Met Gala!
The 38-year-old singer was spotted leaving her hotel in a lace bra and a furry coat on Monday morning (May 4) in New York City.
Rihanna was just in Paris over the weekend, wearing her own merch during a public outing, but it looks like she made it back to the states so she can attend the Met Gala.
For years, Rihanna has been one of the most exciting stars to attend fashion’s biggest night and we always look forward to seeing what she’s going to wear to the event. She’s often the last person to show up on the red carpet each year, so you might be waiting until the end of the night!
What can you expect for Met Gala 2026?
The Met Gala is the biggest night in fashion every year and you can expect hundreds of A-List celebrities to be in attendance. The gala is celebrating the Met’s Costume Art exhibition, which “explores the ‘centrality of the dressed body’ through depictions and interpretations of the human form in the Met’s extensive collection.” The dress code this year is “Fashion is Art” and the co-chairs for the gala are Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
